KAITLYN WEIGHTMAN - Head Coach
Hi, my name is Kaitlyn Weightman, and I am a junior at the University of the Incarnate Word. I am from Montgomery, Texas where I swam for a club team and for my high school team. I was a state finalist/medalist all 4 years of high school and I am currently on the swim team at UIW. I am an elementary education major and love working with kids! I was an assistant coach of a summer league team last summer back in Montgomery. This is my third year with the Waverunners and I am so excited to being head coach this summer! I love sharing my passion for swimming with others and I know we are going to have a great season! :)
COLE FAUX - Assistant Coach
Hey y’all! My name is Cole Faux and i’m a freshman now at Augustana College playing waterpolo! I have been swimming all throughout my life and even was a Waverunner swimmer since an early age. I helped out last year and can’t wait to see all y’all again this summer!
IAN ENGEL - Junior Coach
Hi, my name is Ian Engel, and I am a senior at Clark High School. This fall, I plan to attend the Colorado School of Mines to pursue a degree in Biochemical Engineering while continuing to play water polo. I’ve been swimming with the Waverunners since I was five years old and have competed in both club and high school water polo and swimming. Additionally, I’ve been a lifeguard for the past two years and have volunteered to assist the coaches for the Waverunners for the last two seasons. I’m excited to be a part of this new season and look forward to a fantastic summer!
HALEY HARRIS - Junior Coach
Hi! My name is Haley Harris, and I’m a sophomore at Clark High School. I’ve been swimming since I was 9 months old and have been swimming competitively with San Antonio Wave since I was 7! I’m on the Varsity Swim and Water Polo team at Clark and I’ve been with the Waverunners for over 9 years! This team is wonderful and has a bunch of potential! I am so excited to be a part of the coaching staff this year, and I am positive our season will be amazing! I love this sport and I can’t wait to meet everyone!!
