About Us
The RR Waverunners Swim Team is a neighborhood recreational swim team. It is committed to creating a rewarding experience for youth to learn about competitive swimming while enjoying a fun and healthy summer activity.
The team’s coaching staff work on many aspects of competitive swimming skills, including all the strokes, starts and turns in drills in a way that make it fun and exciting for kids to learn and be fit. At the end of summer league, many of our swimmers continue in the sport by participating in year-round swim programs throughout the area.
The RR Waverunners Swim Team is part of the Lone Star Summer Swim League (LSSSL). The LSSSL’s participating teams provide numerous opportunities for youth to learn about sportsmanship and team camaraderie while learning swim skills that will last a lifetime. There are 4 divisions within the League (A, B, C,and D). The divisions are generally based on team size and performance. The Waverunners are one of medium sized teams and currently compete in Division B of the LSSSL.
